December 27

Holiday Greetings,

The gifts have all been opened (no returns this year...got to love those gift cards!), the Dept. 56, the Christmas decorations have all been put away and the tree is in the process of being taken down. That's what happens at the Frisinger household when the Christmas season begins the middle of November. The decorations and tree are normally up by November 20. I am looking forward to having my house back :)

At work yesterday it was "pick on Ingrid for everything day". I think they were all jealous cuz I started the day with 2 big sales before we even opened. I told them that they may have take Christmas off but I was busy selling to the fam. HA HA was the response that I got till they saw the sales total, then the picking on me started. By 3:30 in the afternoon they had enough of the fun and said "sorry and thanks for the fun we had at your expense today". Of course I was supposed to go home at that time but still had a bunch of work to complete so I stayed till 5:00.
I just love those guys, can't wait till pay back time comes around, and they know that it will.

The pain was finally starting to really ease up, no more pain meds just Tylenol, then I went grocery shopping again with John. Not a smart thing to do....but it needs to be done on a weekly basis, I only go once a week, if we need anything between the shopping trips I improvise. But since I have been sitting for about an hour the pain is easing again. I guess it is going to be the "do a little sit a little" stratagy for a while.

Rich and Rita made it to Grand Rapids safely yesterday in all the freezing rain. One of these days they will have an uneventful trip there and back. Clinicals were good again. Rich is still trying to deal with all the pain and the med staff is giving him some great ideas that will hopefully help. Please keep praying that his pain will be easing soon.

Blessings to all,

Ingrid
