December 10

Greetings to all,

It has been quite a journey so far. But one that is well worth all the pain and trials.

I will be able to go home tomorrow...poor Rich has to stay for an extra day or 2. I have utilized the chef....he made me chicken noodle soup, chicken tenders and a roast beef wrap. This surgery thing puts a big ding in your appetite. But have no fear....we will both be eating again real soon.

No more turning blue today....they all did the happy dance when the blood oxygen level went above 90%.

I saw Rich again this morning. My parents are getting to know him and are loving him like all of us do. He is in some pain, due to the bladder needing to work in overdrive...but he has a smile on his face through it all....my hero. I am still peeing all the time so my one kidney took over when the other one went to Rich. Darn...I was hoping for a break. :) Had a great visit with Rita this afternoon also.

Thank you to all who have been holding us up in prayer.....we truly feel it. Hope this sounds ok...love the pain meds.

Blessings to all,

Ingrid
